What we collect, what we don’t,
and what to do if you want it gone.

We collect two kinds of information, and nothing else. Each type has a clear purpose we’ll spell out in the next section.

Contract and document text you submit. When you trigger a scan — paste a contract into the extension’s side panel, or open a document in a tab DraftWarden is reading — we process that text to detect clause patterns and produce rewrite suggestions. The text is processed to deliver the flag and the rewrite back to you.

Account and authentication information. When you sign up for DraftWarden Pro, our authentication service holds your email address and the credentials you use to log in. Our payment provider (Stripe) holds your billing information and processes payments. We never see raw payment card data — card number, expiry, and security code are captured and held by the payment provider, not by DraftWarden.

The document text is collected so we can detect clause patterns — net-90 payment terms, IP-on-final-payment, unlimited revisions, and the other known-bad shapes the extension flags — and generate a plain-English rewrite you can paste back to your client. Without the text, there’s no flag and no rewrite.

Your account and billing information are held so we can keep your subscription running, charge the monthly fee, and let you cancel from your dashboard whenever you decide to.

The text of contracts you scan is used only to deliver your own flags and rewrite suggestions back to you. That is the entire use.

Not sold. We do not sell your document text, your account information, or anything else collected through DraftWarden. Not to advertisers, not to partner networks, not to language-model providers, not to anyone.

Not used for advertising. We do not run ads, retarget you, build a profile across other sites, or share usage data with ad networks.

Not used for anything outside your flags and rewrites. The contract text you submit is not used to train any model, is not added to a corpus, and is not shown to anyone other than you.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. You can close your DraftWarden account at any time. Two channels cover everything.

Self-serve, in the app. Open your Account area from the dashboard to cancel your subscription and request deletion of your account and any associated scan data. The change is immediate on your side; we finish deleting the rest within 30 days.

Email for everything else. Requesting a copy of the data we hold, correcting something we got wrong, or asking a question we should answer by hand — write us at draftwarden@polsia.app. We respond within 30 days, usually faster.
